Our services to sporting bodies

Whilst we recognise that each client’s circumstances are unique, there are a number of common financial and business issues for most NFP sporting bodies of which we have a deep understanding.

Nationally, we advise a broad range of not-for-profit sporting organisations, from government and national bodies to local sporting bodies. Our clients include Commonwealth Games England, the Sport and Recreation Alliance, Welsh Hockey and Welsh Netball and Boccia International Sports Federation.

Given the public interest of such organisations, we understand the importance of ensuring robust controls and systems across all operations, in order to comply with the Code for Sports Governance and to preserve reputation within the public eye, as well as with stakeholders such as Sport England and the National Lottery. For many sporting bodies the treatment of VAT can be a key issue, particularly as funding arrangements are becoming more complex.
