1 May 2020: Bounce Back Loans

On the 27th April the Government announced their latest form of funding to further prop up the UK economy. With effect from 4 May 2020 we expect many small and medium sized businesses to be able to claim for a ‘bounce back loan’ for up to £50,000. This webinar explores the Bounce Back Loan, the application process and any questions you may have regarding the scheme.

23 April 2020: Construction’s recovery from the Age of Coronavirus

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Construction Industry Council introduced a free webinar series to offer guidance and clarity to its members and to the wider industry. 15 April 2020: Support for self-employed and freelance workers in the age of COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Construction Industry Council introduced a free webinar series to offer guidance and clarity to its members and to the wider industry. This webinar was led by Charles Homan, partner in our Brighton office, and Brian Berry, Chief Executive of the Federation of Master Builders, who discuss the spport available for the self employed and freelance workers in the construction industry, during the coronavirus crisis.

7 April 2020: Job retention scheme explained

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme is a government grant to reimburse employers for 80% of a ‘furloughed worker’s’ wages or salary, to a cap of £2,500 per month plus employment costs. It is a complex support package that has raised many questions amongst SME business owners. Our Letchworth office  have collaborated with HR Service Centre to discuss the complexities of the scheme and answer any questions you have.

3 April 2020: Reshaping your business for survival and future prosperity: Avoiding the pitfalls and taking action now
