There is no typical ‘day in the life’ of a trainee accountant! You could be working in the office or at a client’s; you could be working alone or in a team. The beauty of being a trainee accountant is no two days are the same ensuring you face new challenges and are exposed to new areas on a weekly basis.

Most of our trainees study to obtain either the ACCA, ACA or AAT qualification. The diagram below gives you a snapshot of what you could expect at each stage of your training, depending on the route you choose. You can also read more about the different training options available here.
In some of our offices the pathway is different to the above, in that whole levels must be completed before you can move onto the next level.
Please note, in some of our offices AAT trainees start at level 2
