Hosted on 2 February at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester, members from our team dressed in their best attire and headed over to the prestigious event to show their support for Eleanor and to celebrate the MiMA’s 10th anniversary!
The MiMA’s are proudly hosted by Future Pro-Manchester, to commemorate the best of Manchester’s young business talent aged up to 35, with particular focus on celebrating their innovation, excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, development and leadership skills.
Eleanor was a very worthy winner of this award, and the whole UHY team are immensely proud of her. Over the last few years, she has single-handedly, both created and delivered, internal audit training to coach less senior staff into getting the most out of their own role as they progress to qualified audit executives. She demonstrates patience in abundance, encourages that no question is too silly whilst also ensuring staff challenge themselves in their thinking.
In addition, there is nothing that can quantify the benefit staff are seeing within their own personal development when Ellie continuously makes the time (in and out of work time) to offer support and enjoy what they do. Most staff feel the unique selling point to the new internal training vs the old is fundamentally the person leading it - Ellie.
