What does Anne’s day to day look like?
Working closely with clients, Anne is responsible for the preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns for a wide range of clients in a variety of industries.
Anne’s excellent attention to detail allows her to handle a large number of transactions each day, ensuring that she claims the maximum amount of input VAT for our clients whilst working within the Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTD) guidelines.
What changes has Anne seen over the years?
Over the years, Anne has adapted to the ever-evolving bookkeeping systems, taking her from using handwritten ledgers to cloud accounting software including, QuickBooks Online, SAGE (desktop & online) and Xero.
Day to day Anne switches between systems, and processes to work in the most effective way that suits the client’s needs and procedures.
And of course, one of the largest changes that Anne has seen over the years, is the introduction of MTD.
What are Anne’s interests outside of work?
Anne enjoys going on holidays, including cruises and trips to Wales. Anne also loves spending time with her young grandson, Hugo.
