Richard joined Hacker Young in 2021 having qualified and worked in a top tier accountancy firm in the South East. He has a background in OMB/SME audit and corporate finance across a broad range of clients. As part of this client base, Richard has particular specialisms in the financial services and agricultural sectors, both in the North West and South East. Richard provides a holistic range of accountancy, tax and planning services for ongoing clients as well as stand-alone engagements for M&A advisory clients, including:

• M&A transactional services and financial due diligence
• tax advisory and compliance
• accounting compliance
• family planning
• succession planning and IHT mitigation
• financial reviews

Richard is also keenly involved in local NFP business and community work, assisting on a number of boards and committees in the North West. He spends his spare time renovating/gardening at home or he can be found on a riverbank or walking up a hill.
