UHY Hacker Young Manchester bolsters leadership team with appointment of new Tax Partner

UHY Hacker Young Manchester has appointed a new Tax Partner, Stephen Kerrigan, to contribute towards their expansion.

Stephen joins the team with 20 years of experience within tax and is an esteemed member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Prior to joining UHY, Stephen was a Partner in a top ten firm for over three years, advising clients of all shapes and sizes, with a particular focus on owner-managed businesses in the SME space and high-net-worth individuals.

Stephen specialises in forming strong relationships, both internally and with clients, and can advise on a wide range of taxation matters including, dealing with HMRC, dispute resolution, share schemes, VAT and capital gains tax planning.

Commenting on his new role, Stephen said, “UHY feels like the perfect place for me to further my career in tax with ambitious growth plans and a leadership team with a strong sense of togetherness and direction.
