Leeds accountancy firm, BPR Heaton, has joined the UHY UK group as our national network continues to expand.
Having been in business almost 100 years, BPR Heaton is a full-service accountancy firm offering audit, accounting, tax and business tax advice services to its client base. The firm brings with it five partners and 35 team members, soon to be known as UHY BPR Heaton.
Mark Andrews, Managing Partner of BPR Heaton, says they are looking forward to expanding their practice beyond the city and further into the surrounding areas of West Yorkshire.
He adds that joining our network allows BPR Heaton to retain a much greater degree of independence than if the firm had been sold to a private equity backed ‘consolidator’ group. Several firms in the region have been swept up by consolidators in recent months.
Andrews also says that access to the our international network of firms across 100 countries has already allowed BPR Heaton to take on more cross-border work. BPR Heaton is already working closely with our member firms in Spain and Germany.
The addition of BPR Heaton helps to further expand the geographical reach of our UK network. Recent years have seen our UK group expand to Thames Valley, and grown through existing firm mergers in York, Cambridgeshire, Brighton and Sheffield.
