The EOYC is a summary which details the contributions made by the employer and employees to the Teachers Pension Scheme (TPS) for the financial year to 31 March, which is split into different categories and contribution tiers. The amounts included in the EOYC should be in agreement with the total contributions made to the TPS.
There is no extension to the 31 May deadline and all trusts must make the TPS aware of any potential delays in submitting the returns.
Key dates to be aware of:
31 May – Unaudited EOYC to be returned to the TPS (you do have the option to submit an audited EOYC by this date.)
30 June – Unaudited version of the EOYC to be available to the auditor no later than 30 June.
29 September – Audited EOYC to be returned to TPS (Non LAs).
30 November – Audited EOYC to returned to TPS (LAs only).
