Brexit webinar: VAT & Customs reporting implications for trading with the EU

Sean Glancy, one of UHY’s resident VAT experts, will be presenting alongside Barbara Scott, Chair of the Customs Practitioners Group, to consider a number of key topics and changes that your business should be ready for, including:

  • Exporting goods to the EU
  • Importing goods into the UK
  • Supplies of services
  • A number of supply chain solutions

The trade and cooperation agreement between the UK and EU means that there will be no tariffs or quotas on the movement of goods produced between the UK and the EU.

We will discuss how UK businesses have been affected by the VAT rules effective from 1 January 2021, including the movement of goods, explaining the VAT and duty implications, the supply of services, as well as other VAT developments.

The session will conclude with a Q&A session where you will be able to ask our speakers questions surrounding the key changes.
