Chris joined UHY from a large regional firm of agricultural accountants and tax advisors based in Cambridgeshire, where he gained invaluable experience of working with farming businesses. He qualified as an accountant in 2004 with a national firm and achieved fellowship (FCCA) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2009.
Having spent 4 years of his 20 + year career out of accountancy practice and in commercial roles, Chris brings a wealth of commercial insight to the team and his clients. Predominantly working with owner managed businesses, Chris has spent time working in Corporate Finance and Audit departments as well as general tax and business advisory services.
Chris specialises in farming and is part of the Agricultural Team in the eastern region. Having worked on a farm during his college holidays, he understands the operational side of a farming business. In previous positions, Chris gained experience working with large farms and related membership organisations in the capacity of audit manager.
Outside of work Chris is a keen swimmer and the Treasurer at his local volunteering centre.
