Mike Davies, Founder and Chair of Centrality commented:
“The expertise and diligent support from UHY Hacker Young were instrumental in this process, providing us with the necessary guidance and insight to navigate this complex transaction smoothly. Their commitment to working in the best interests of all stakeholders has been invaluable in achieving this milestone, perfectly aligning with our dedication to excellence and customer-centric service. I am incredibly excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for the combined group. I can unequivocally state that without the assistance from Dave Hailey along with the wider UHY team, this deal simply would not have happened.”
The deal was managed by Dave Hailey, Head of Tech & Media at UHY Hacker Young who represented Centrality and had moved into an interim CFO role with the business in the months leading up to the sale. Dave said:
“Centrality is a tremendous business with some amazing people with whom we’ve had the privilege of working over the past 10 years. It was apparent from the moment we met Intercity how much of a good fit the two businesses would be, combining their expertise to create a real MSP powerhouse and both with a genuine focus on their people and their customers. The combined responsibility of acting as lead advisor alongside performing an interim CFO role allowed me the opportunity to really get to know the Intercity team and I have no doubt that Centrality will grow and flourish as a key part of their group.”
