IR35: Is your business ready for the off-payroll reform?

From 6 April 2021, new off-payroll legislation will enforce fairness between workers and increase compliance with IR35 tax regulations. For contractors working in the same way as employees of a company, the same income tax and National Insurance contributions (NICs) will apply, instead of being paid via a personal service company (PSC).

UHY Hacker Young and Qdos hosted a webinar on 1 March 2021 from 11-11:45am covering the following:

  • An overview of the IR35 off-payroll reform
  • How it may affect your business as a client and a contractor
  • The contractual chain: which party is liable for what?
  • The impact of being inside the scope of IR35 may have on the contractor's net pay
  • How to prepare for these changes

There will be an opportunity to ask our experts questions during a live Q&A session to find out more about how these changes might apply to your specific circumstances.
