UHY Hacker Young to take on the London Royal Parks Challenge in support of Teenage Cancer Trust

UHY Hacker Young will be taking part in the London Royal Parks Challenge on Friday 26 April, to raise money for our national charity of the year, Teenage Cancer Trust

60 team members across our UK offices have accepted to take on this tough 1-day challenge, which consists of a marathon distance trek that visits the ten Royal Parks of London. Our team will set off from Bushy Park in the early hours of Friday, taking them across the Thames and passing iconic locations such as Chelsea, Buckingham Palace and Primrose Hill, before reaching the final stop at Greenwich to conclude the quest through all ten Royal Parks.

At UHY, we recognise the importance of contributing positively to our wider community, demonstrated by our shared purpose of helping you prosper. We are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility across all our 24 UK offices and, as part of that, we pledge to support a national charity each year by organising a multitude of fundraising events.

Last April, our offices nominated Teenage Cancer Trust  as our charity of the year 2023-24. Teenage Cancer Trust are a brilliant charity providing unique life-changing care and support for young people aged 13-24 who are facing cancer. The charity funds specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.

So far, our team efforts have raised an incredible £12,000 from the London Royal Parks Challenge. If you would like to show your support to our amazing team members and donate to Teenage Cancer Trust, please visit our JustGiving page.
