Steven is the payroll manager of our Chester office. He leads a busy team supporting a wide variety of clients, from family-run pharmacies and hospitality to warehouses and logistics. He is certified (CIPP) and experienced with UK payroll, benefits and rewards, pensions and employment law.

Steven trained as a payroll manager and qualified in 2025. His expertise is in customer-led practice and communication, working to demystify the payroll process and help businesses succeed with confidence.

Steven also has experience with the payroll side of due diligence and preparing employee records for future mergers, working closely with partners to ensure a smooth transition wherever possible. Steven helps businesses to design reward packages including salary sacrifice, benefits in kind and flexible rewards to aid with staff retention and reduce turnover costs.

In his spare time, Steven is involved with charitable work and community events, and enjoys a good book and time spent outdoors.
