Mike qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant 1999 and eager for his next challenge, went straight on to pass the entrance exams for the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2000.  

Mike worked as a manager for a Top 15 firm in his early career before going solo in 2008 to build his own successful business from a start-up, mostly based on recommendations. Mike, alongside his firm, joined UHY Ross Brooke in 2017.

As a Chartered Tax Adviser, it is the tax skills and knowledge that Mike thrives on to help his clients, with succession planning being of particularly interest.  He specialises in owner managed businesses across a range of industries including property companies, farming and the travel industry and ABTA regulated clients.

When he’s not working Mike can be found pounding the footpaths, enjoying rock festivals and spending time with his family.
