Mike has been in practice for over 35 years, having spent the last 20 years as a partner with Grant Thornton. He is a tax specialist focusing on entrepreneurial private clients and their businesses, often acting as trusted advisor, having built longstanding close relationships with his clients. He advises on all aspects of tax, in particular the interface between the individual and their business, as well as providing advice on matters such as structuring of transactions, succession planning and wealth management.

Mike combines his specialist tax knowledge with commercial pragmatism to deliver practical solutions. He has a particular focus on music and live events, acting for artists, promoters and venues, mixing his professional life with his interest in live music.

Mike is married with three adult children and in his spare time is a regular swimmer and walker; he also enjoys spending time in France, be that walking in the summer or skiing in the winter.
