Joseph is a senior R&D Tax Consultant based at our specialist Innovation Tax reliefs consultancy in Chester.

Joseph has a broad portfolio of experience, having spent time working in sales, management, and distribution alongside his extensive work in R&D. He has studied towards an ATT qualification in business taxation and has a degree in law.

With over 9 years of industry experience in UK R&D Tax Relief, Joseph brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

Joseph's experience dates back to 2016 when he took on the role of R&D Tax Consultant at Ryan. During his time there, Joseph was instrumental in the firm's growth and development, helping it expand from 30 to over 150 employees. This transformed it into one of the leading boutique providers of R&D Tax Relief and embedded Capital Allowances.

Building on his success at Ryan, Joseph worked at a Hampshire-based R&D firm for two years, further developing his skills in this specialism, before spending eight months with McIntyre Hudson Associates (MHA). Here, he played a key role in transitioning the company from a regional setup to a national organisation.

Joseph is a founding member of the team at UHY Hacker Young R&D, where he uses his extensive expertise and knowledge of tax relief legislation to provide tailored advice and support to our clients.
