Jean is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), and a Fellow of the Association of Tax Technicians – ATT(Fellow), and has been working in General Practice for many, many years. 

Jean joined the Tax team in our York office in February 2024, bringing a wealth of experience gained over many years and from across the UK as Jean is Scottish. She started her Tax Career in Scotland but in 1999, Jean met, and then married, an Englishman and moved with him to the Home Counties where her career in tax continued. A subsequent move to York followed and Jean has worked with York firms ever since. Jean is very much client focused and client service is her priority.

In her spare time, Jean enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
