Glenn is the commercial partner in the UHY Hacker Young Birmingham office, leading the firm's commercial team and holding overall responsibility for the delivery of accounts, tax and advisory services to the firm's commercial client base – the full range of services a typical accountancy practice provides to owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporate clients.

Joining UHY in 2003, Glenn has spent more than twenty years working within the West Midlands SME sector, having trained with a small independent practice before joining UHY Birmingham. He works strategically with private clients and business contacts to deliver a high-quality, personal service to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals, providing professional advice across accountancy and taxation.

Glenn has built and retained a substantial portfolio of commercial clients, overseeing the preparation of accounts, corporate and personal tax computations, and VAT returns, while providing wider commercial and strategic advice as businesses grow and their needs evolve. Through this work he has developed particular sector expertise in jewellery, automotive, healthcare and manufacturing, reflecting the strong commercial heritage of the Birmingham office and its Jewellery Quarter roots. As Commercial Partner, Glenn also leads and mentors the Commercial team, ensuring clients receive a responsive, technically excellent service and consistent, practical advice.

Outside of work, Glenn enjoys spending time with his family, and has a keen interest in classic cars and tennis.
