Chris recently joined the Brighton office in September 2018 as a tax manager. He grew up in the Brighton & Hove area, before studying Business Management at the University in Bath. After completing this, he decided on a career in accounting and tax and trained at two local accountancy firms; Parkers and Crunch Accounting. Chris qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2014.
By working in both traditional and innovative environments, he has experience dealing with the best of both worlds. Through the use of IT systems and cloud accounting software, he has helped many clients streamline their business processes. This was recognised in 2016 by being awarded the New Practitioner of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards.
Through his strategic thinking, he is passionate and enthusiastic about helping clients with complex questions. He has expertise in the following areas:

- Cloud accounting
- Making Tax Digital (MTD)
In his spare time, Chris is a Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket holder and is a keen advocate of eco-friendly living and business practices.
