Alex studied International History and Politics at Leeds University, before realising the student life wasn’t for him and leaving to qualify as a MAAT. He worked in a practice in Huddersfield for 10 years before joining the firm in 2011 and has since driven around 25,000 miles on the M62 (most of it at a walking pace).
Alex works closely with Gordon in the outsourcing team, preparing management accounts and financial forecasts for a wide variety of clients, as well as helping and advising clients on how best to run and manage their finance function in the most efficient and productive way, making the most out of their available IT and human resources.
Outside of work, Alex is a keen amateur sportsman, and whilst a dodgy hip has ended his football career, he is still a budding cricketer and recently scored his first ever century at the young age of 41. He is a dedicated cheerleader and taxi driver for his two sports-mad children, and tries to hang on to his youth by regularly attending gigs of 90’s indie bands with his wife.
