Aaron Thomas

Aaron is a director at UHY Hacker Young. He joined in October 2009 after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Economics.

Having trained with the firm Aaron has been exposed to a wide variety of clients and business sectors, equipping him with a wealth of knowledge and an adaptable skill set.

With experience in a diverse number of roles and ACA qualified he plays a key role in the business, delivering audit services, as well as high quality consultancy services to a range of commercial and public sector clients.

Aaron provides financial management and technical support to a number of NHS clients, and has played a key role in the restructure and development of newly formed NHS organisations. He is currently working on a number of vanguard projects to develop a more efficient and effective NHS within the Midlands.

Aaron also sits on the UHY national automotive sector group board and leads the client audits within this sector for the Midlands.

Furthermore, Aaron is heavily involved in the academy schools sector, where he manages the accounts team and provides advice to transitioning and expanding multi-academy trusts.

Outside of work Aaron is a keen sportsman having completed a number of triathlons for charity and participates in the UHY football and golf tournaments. He also ran the 2017 London Marathon in aid of Dreams Come True.
