Our fifth year at Kent Vision Live!

20 May 2016

On Wednesday 11 May our Kent offices exhibited at Kent Vision Live, the premier business event in Kent, held at the Kent County Showground, in Detling, near to Maidstone. This is the fifth year in succession that we have exhibited at the event which claims to be the largest regional Business to Business exhibition and conference in the South East and possibly the UK!

Starting life in 2006, the exhibition has evolved rapidly to become an unmissable fixture in the Kent business calendar, creating an annual opportunity for senior decision-makers to gather fresh inspiration, new ideas and practical advice on almost every aspect of managing and growing a successful business.

This year, the event featured over 300 exhibitors, and was attended by over 3,200 visitors, with attendees including many of the leading businesses and business personalities from the South East. The event also featured over 40 different workshops on everything from effective marketing and customer service, to starting a new business, building brilliant teams and using technology to grow.

Other 2016 Key speakers included:

  • Chas Howes, former CFO of SuperDry;
  • Louise Fowler, First Direct/British Airways;
  • Gori Yahaya, head of the digital garage at Google;
  • Michael Martins, economic analyst, The IoD;
  • Katie King, managing director of Zoodikers Consulting; and
  • Brian Whiting, founder of the Whiting & Hammond Pub Group.

The day also featured the announcement of the Kent Excellent in Business Awards (KEiBA) finalists for 2016.

This year I attended all day, accompanied by Nick Edwards, partner, in the morning and Allan Hickie, partner, in the afternoon.  The footfall seems to increase year on year providing us with an excellent opportunity to network within the local community, meet new faces and catch up with our regular contacts, all in one day!

Over the past decade, Kent Vision Live has grown and evolved to become an unmissable fixture in the Kent business calendar, will we see you there next year?
