Associate dentists

As specialist dental accounts, we help Associate Dentists at varying stages of their career, whether that is Newly Qualified Dentists, Dentists buying their first practice, Dentists who have recently sold their practices or are coming up to retirement.

Accounts and Tax Returns

Most of the time, if you are working as an Associate Dentist, you’ll be classed as being self-employed.

When you are self-employed, HM Revenue and Customs expect you to prepare a set of Annual Accounts and submit a Tax Return.

Your Tax Return also needs to include your income from other sources: Employment, Rental Properties, Investments etc.

Please note that your Tax Return may also include other sources of income that you have such as: Employment Income, Rental Income, Investment Income etc.

UHY offer a personalised service as we know that not all Dentists are the same. You may have multiple sources of income and need support in planning your affairs tax efficiently. We have both Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors ready to help.
