Teachers’ Pensions announce new online End of Year Certificate

This week, Teachers’ Pensions announced that a new online End of Year Certificate (EOYC) which will replace the hard copies that were used previously.

The electronic form will be available via the TPS Employer Portal website in April 2017, with instructions on how to complete it issued to academies in due course.

Teachers’ Pensions have also stated that they want all academies to complete the Contact and Declaration Form via the portal by 31 March 2017 so they have the correct contact details.

The electronic form should hopefully streamline the process for both academies and Teachers’ Pensions as it will reduce the amount of manual input that will be required.

We certainly hope that the implementation of this form will not suffer from the issues that affected the online Annual Accounts Return in late 2016 and early 2017.
