UHY Hacker Young appoints new Head of Corporate Tax to London office

  • New partner brings decades of experience advising on wide range of taxes
  • Will be joining the firm’s expanding tax practice

Andrew Snowdon has joined us as a partner and Head of Corporate Tax in our London office.

Andrew was previously a partner at MacIntyre Hudson, where he worked for 14 years. In total, he has over 30 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of tax issues, including Corporate Tax, Research & Development tax credits, advising on offshore trusts, and employee share plans.

Throughout his career, Andrew has run a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, principally across the property, manufacturing and technology sectors. He has a deep understanding of how a business works, having advised many on the tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals and restructurings.

Andrew also has experience advising and implementing the tax efficient Enterprise Investment Scheme for companies raising finance, which he will to continue to do in his new role.
