New partner Myles Jacobson joins our London turnaround & recovery team

  • Myles Jacobson moves from specialist business recovery practice
  • Has over two decades of experience in insolvency and restructuring

We are very pleased to welcome Myles Jacobson as partner in our turnaround & recovery team in London.

Myles has over two decades of experience working in insolvency and restructuring and joins from specialist business recovery practice Streets SPW, where he was a partner. He previously worked for Top Ten firms BDO and Baker Tilly.

In his previous roles, Myles has advised businesses across numerous sectors, including motor, construction and retail.

Myles is a licensed insolvency practitioner, and sits on the Smaller Practices Group and London & South East Region Committees of R3, the trade association and representative body for the UK’s insolvency, restructuring and business advisory industry. He also sits on the member services committee of the Insolvency Practitioners Association, a licensing body for insolvency practitioners.

Myles says: “Joining UHY Hacker Young is a great opportunity to access genuinely significant turnaround and recovery work. The firm has a great presence across the UK thanks to its local and regional offices, meaning the contact base here is extremely strong.”

“Having been largely focused on pure insolvency work in recent years, I am looking forward to working on a much broader remit, including the turnaround and advisory work that UHY Hacker Young undertakes.”

Peter Kubik, partner and Head of turnaround & recovery in London, comments: “Myles’ appointment will help to further strengthen the turnaround & recovery team here at UHY Hacker Young. He has an excellent track record of turning businesses around, as well as getting the best results for creditors. He will be a valuable addition to our team.”
