Manchester corporate finance team provides financial due diligence to support Maven’s seven figure funding round in to Intilery.com

  • Customer engagement software platform secures Maven & NPIF funding for further expansion

Our Manchester corporate finance team, led by Adnan Sajid, have provided financial due diligence services to support Maven Capital Partners’ seven figure funding round in Chester-based Intilery.com Limited, a customer relationship management (CRM) data platform and real-time decision engine that powers multi-channel campaigns. The funding will enable Intilery to expand the sales and marketing team and develop its commercial offering.

Funding has been provided as a split between Maven’s VCTs and NPIF - Maven Equity Finance, which is managed by Maven and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

The UK holds the largest global CRM market share across Europe, a growing sector forecasted to reach c. $40.2 billion by 2023.

Adnan Sajid, corporate finance partner at our Manchester office said, “We are delighted to have supported Dean Cox and the whole team at Maven to make their significant investment into Intilery.com, ably led by Gareth James, CEO and Tom McMillan, CTO. Our corporate finance team at UHY Hacker Young works closely with private equity firms, alternative debt funds and banks in the region providing first class due diligence, transaction support and lead advisory services. We congratulate all at Maven Capital Partners and Intilery.com and wish them the very best of luck for a sustained period of growth post investment."

Dean Cox, Investment Manager at Maven, said:

"We have enjoyed working alongside Adnan Sajid, corporate finance partner and Dominic Eccles, corporate finance executive, at UHY Hacker Young’s Manchester corporate finance team on this investment into Intilery.com, and have been impressed by the quality of the work and veracity of the Financial Due Diligence produced by the UHY Hacker Young corporate finance team.

This is an exciting investment for Maven and NPIF as we are investing in a business in an exciting sector. We have been impressed with the calibre of the management team, and the functionally rich product has multiple USPs that address market needs in several sectors. Even in these uncertain times we believe that Intilery is well positioned for significant growth over the next three to five years.”

Gareth James, Founder and CEO of Intilery, said:

“It has been great to work with Adnan Sajid, Dominic Eccles and the rest of the corporate finance team at UHY Hacker Young’s Manchester office, it was refreshing to work with such a commercially focused and pragmatic firm.

We are delighted to have Maven on board as we grow Intilery into an international brand. Over the past eight years we have organically grown, supplying many of Europe’s leading consumer brands, the time is now right to take the sales and marketing activity to the next level, on the back of the UK's leading customer engagement platform.”
