We are very pleased to invite you to this special off-the-record briefing on the Bank of England Financial Stability report, taking place on Thursday 16th January from 12:00.
The Financial Policy Committee of the Bank of England is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and taking action against systemic risks, in order to protect and enhance the resilience of the UK financial system.
The FPC prepares and publishes a Financial Stability Report twice a year, which covers the Committee’s views of the current state of the UK financial system, as well as any major risks to financial stability. The report also summarises the activities and policy actions of the Committee over the reporting period, and the extent to which actions taken have succeeded in meeting the Committee’s objectives.
The briefing, co-hosted by UHY Hacker Young Brighton and Handelsbanken, will provide an opportunity to understand the FPC’s current view of the health of the UK financial system, and the developments that have influenced its health. The briefing will also include an explanation of the FPC’s policy decisions and their expected impact.
Join us at the briefing as we explore the current state of the UK financial system, the decisions the FPC has decided to take, and how these decisions may have an impact on the future financial health of the UK.
