UHY Hacker Young’s Cloud Accounting team named Young Professional Team of the Year

We are delighted to announce that our Cloud Accounting team were successful at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards 2019, taking home the Young Professional Team of the Year award.

Now in their 16th year, the awards, which took place in central Manchester on Thursday 4 April, celebrate the region’s finest talent under 35 in the professional services community.

The winners were selected by a panel of expert judges drawn from leading businesses and professional services firms within the region. The judges described the team as innovative and effective and their figures showed excellent results.

The team, which is headed up by Stuart Hurst, is made up of 10 other staff members; Darcie Robinson, Max Whiteley, Ali Netherwood, Michelle Dale, Anne Gleave, Gareth Cliffe, Brandon Cherrett, Georgia Stoddard, Talisa Pedley and Emma Bottom.

Stuart Hurst, Director of Cloud Accounting, said, “We’re delighted to receive this award following a hugely successful year for the team.

Although the competition was tough, the team were thoroughly deserving of the award after a year of dedication and hard work.

I’m immensely proud of everyone in the team and I look forward to continuing the current momentum for the remainder of the year.”

We’d also like to give a huge congratulations to Chris Oxley who was shortlisted for the Young Accountant of the Year award.
