Sophie Glynn
Sophie has worked at UHY Manchester for around 15 months and was promoted to Assistant Manager during this time.
Sophie manages a portfolio of clients and works closely with the partners to ensure all accounts are prepared to a high standard and submitted before deadlines. Sophie also attends clients every month to assist with their finance function.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her sister either at the library or watching Netflix.

Gareth Cliffe
Gareth has worked at UHY Manchester for 18 years, making him one of our longest serving members in the team.
Gareth spends most of his time looking after non-audit clients, preparing/reviewing year end accounts and assisting with any bookkeeping queries. He also helps within the audit team working on charity audits.
In Gareth’s spare time, he enjoys listening to music and playing guitar.

Brandon Cherrett
Brandon started at UHY Manchester as an accounts trainee and in December 2020 he sat his final ACCA exam, becoming qualified at the start of 2021. In September 2021, he was then promoted to an Assistant Manager.
In a typical week Brandon will answer client queries on different cloud services, provide assistance to trainee’s and reviews year end accounts for non-audit clients.
Brandon has recently adopted a puppy called Hector and is spending most of his time training the puppy!
