Accounting, treasury and tax resources

This page contains a list of externally produced resources which offer advice about the impact of Brexit with regard to accounting, treasury and tax.

Managing cash through Brexit

The Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) have come together to  create a new guide to support small businesses in managing cash through Brexit.  The guide highlights the basic principles of cashflow and credit management to help steer businesses through the current uncertainty.  Download the guide on the CICM website here.

FRC issues advice to preparers of listed companies

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has issued guidance to preparers of annual reports of around 1,200 large and smaller listed companies. The letter highlights key issues and improvements that can be made to annual reports in the 2016 reporting season and includes a section on disclosures relating to the EU referendum result.  Download the letter here.

How can we help?

With the fast-moving Brexit environment, we understand how difficult it can be to keep abreast of the latest developments, whilst managing the everyday running of your business. We can help you to stay ahead of the game, and work proactively with you to help you achieve success throughout Brexit. Furthermore, if you are seeking advice about doing business in other parts of the words as a result of Brexit, eg. Asia or The Americas, then as a member of the international UHY network, we can introduce you to other UHY member firms to provide the local advice you will need.

If you would like further information on the services we can provide to you, please get in touch with your local UHY contact or our Head of Brexit, Martin Jones.
