Martin rejected the university route after school and instead was one of the first AAT Apprentices to study Accountancy alongside training in a Chartered Accountancy Practice. He went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. Because of this he has extensive general practice and business knowledge that sit alongside his skills in audit, financial accounting, and corporation tax.

Martin has responsibility for the corporate, audit and compliance accounting functions in the firm, alongside his staff training responsibilities.

Martin is a father of two, a vinyl collector and an active Leeds United supporter, which for those that know is not a relaxing activity!
