Mark studied physics with electronics and instrumentation at Leeds University and for some reason unknown to him qualified as a chartered accountant. Soon after he qualified as a chartered tax adviser. Mark has a long pedigree and a wealth of general practice experience. He manages a very broad portfolio of clients and specialises in advising on corporate finance, exit strategies, tax planning and tax efficiency.
 
When not at work Mark used to enjoy cycling (boasting a ridiculous number of bikes, many constructed by himself), running and the outdoors generally. But nowadays with a young family of three, all born within a year of each other, his bike collection has quadrupled, and he spends most of his time making sure his children don’t ride their bikes into a ditch or oncoming traffic.
