Andrew joined UHY in 2011 as Director and became a Partner in 2012. As well as leading delivery of compliance services (audit, accountancy and management accounts) he has a proven track record in the delivery of business advisory services including:

• Strategic and Business Planning
• Financing
• International Expansion
• Due Diligence Reporting
• Grant Applications

In providing these services, Andrew draws on experience from training with a small independent practice and, after qualifying, working at a Big Four accountancy firm where he was promoted to manager. Wanting to get closer to the SME sector, he moved to another national firm, retaining a portfolio of private and listed companies, advising clients on a range of issues including financing, acquisitions and disposals and other business issues. During this time Andrew broadened his experience on secondment to Science City York, working with entrepreneurial, fast growth and start up businesses, and was a member of the audit committee of York St John University. Outside work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family, running and (despite the rain) hiking and camping.
