Aaron is a partner at UHY Hacker Young. He joined the firm in October 2009 after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Economics.

Having trained with the firm, Aaron has been exposed to a wide variety of clients and business sectors, equipping him with a wealth of knowledge and an adaptable skill set. This is used to play a key role in the business; leading audits alongside a range of management consultancy services to commercial, education and healthcare sector clients.

Aarons work includes interim roles and project work, across the Midlands, North West and South West for healthcare providers and not for profit businesses..

Recently, Aaron has advised and supported the creation of a new £300m NHS Trust in the Midlands, formed through the transfer of clinical services from 3 neighbouring Acute and Mental Health hospitals. He also specialises in financial modelling, developing complex pricing, costing and financial reporting models. Lately developing a bespoke Long Term Financial Model to support the bid for a £1billion healthcare contract. 

As part of his role within the firm Aaron is also responsible for managing a range of Multi-Academy Trust clients, providing accounting and advisory services to transitioning and established academy schools.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys meeting new people through socialising and travelling. He is also a keen sportsman enjoying snowboarding and triathlons, running the 2017 London Marathon in aid of Dreams Come True.
