Proud to be working with the British Paralympic Association

6 February 2018

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as external auditors and tax advisers to the British Paralympic Association (BPA).

As the National Paralympic Committee for Great Britain, it is the BPA’s responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the Paralympic Games. Through sport, their vision is to inspire a better world for disabled people.

Subarna Banerjee, partner at UHY Hacker Young and head of our national charity and sector, said "we are thrilled to have been appointed to support the British Paralympic Association, particularly given the fantastic work it undertakes. We are looking forward to developing a close relationship with the BPA team and supporting them in the future.”

Commenting on the appointment, Elaine Battson, Director of Finance and Corporate Services at the BPA, said “we were particularly impressed by the UHY team and their expertise in the charity and not-for-profit sector, as well as their enthusiasm to work with us and the potential to add value.  On this basis, UHY Hacker Young were unanimously recommended for appointment as auditor.”
