Our Sittingbourne office are proud sponsors of the Swale business awards which took place at the Barnyard Upchurch on Friday October 7 2011.
The event which is currently in its fifth year celebrates the best of local business and is renowned for acknowledging a diverse range of industries.
Liz Jordan, partner at our Sittingbourne office commented that, “all 12 finalists were absolutely exceptional businesses. The companies who have made the final cut varied greatly in terms of their sectors, their turnover and the number of people they employ but they are all great success stories and that is a testament to the thriving and diverse business community we have here in Swale. The four winners just had that little something extra which won over the judges."
Despite fierce competition between the 12 shortlisted finalists, the winners announced were:
Business of the year: Carousel Logistics Limited
Small business of the year: NBC Bird and Pest Solutions
Customer service and commitment award: O’Connell’s Drywall Contractors Limited
Retail and hospitality award: Macknade Fine Foods
The awards showcased yet another successful year for a variety of businesses in Swale. For further information on the awards and the businesses involved please visit www.sbawards.co.uk.
