Our Manchester office has been appointed receivers of Brookside Close, the legendary Liverpool cud-de-sac where the popular Channel 4 soap opera Brookside was filmed until 2003.
Brookside Close played host to a number of celebrated soap families like the Corkhills and the Grants, with the flagship Channel 4 drama helping to launch the careers of TV stars such as Ricky Tomlinson, Sue Johnston, Amanda Burton and Anna Friel.
The 13 three and four bedroom properties, including Number 10 Brookside Close which saw character Trevor Jordache buried under the patio, will now be sold collectively at auction by property auctioneers Allsop on December 17 with a guide price of £550,000 - £600,000.
Nick Hancock, Corporate Recovery Partner at the Manchester office, comments: “We are hopeful that this site will attract a number of serious bids. The opportunity to develop such an iconic address doesn’t come along too often.”
