We are expanding with new Leeds turnaround and recovery office

7th December, 2007

We are launching a new Turnaround and Recovery office in Leeds, broadening our geographical coverage into one of the UK’s fastest growing business centres.

Peter Kubik, Turnaround and Recovery Partner at our London office comments: “Leeds is a natural choice for the expansion of our turnaround and recovery practice; it is the regional headquarters for an increasing number of major banks, building societies and corporates.”

“We have been working with a growing list of clients based within Leeds so we know there is a great deal of demand for insolvency advisers who have the ability and proven track record for returning businesses to profitability.”

Our success in turning around troubled businesses is based on our ability to provide pragmatic and thoroughly thought through plans on business restructuring and refinancing.

The Leeds office will offer a full turnaround and recovery service for both individuals and corporates facing insolvency.

Peter Kubik says: “We are putting a great team in place and the practice will be managed by Edwin Kirkwood, who has over 25 years of experience.”

“We are really looking forward to strengthening the links we have already forged with businesses in Leeds.”

“The UHY Hacker Young Group continues to go from strength to strength and the expansion of our turnaround and recovery department is a practice area that is central to that growth.”

The team has recently worked on a number of high profile insolvencies such as The Sportsman Newspaper and World Gaming plc.

Our Leeds office can be contacted on 0113 322 0036.
