Derek Forsyth

Derek was a senior manager in the corporate recovery department of an international firm of chartered accountants, where he took charge of a wide range of insolvency assignments, having held an insolvency permit since 1990. He subsequently moved to a major Scottish clearing bank, where he worked within the asset structuring department with the responsibility for controlling the bank’s exposure to a portfolio of higher risk customers over a wide range of industry sectors.

Derek works within the Business Recovery and Insolvency department and is also part of the firm’s Corporate Consultancy team.
A keen golfer, skier, and cyclist, Derek is a man of many disguises. Not only does he coach his sons’ football team, the demands made of him by his boys’ social life often results in him being mistaken for a taxi driver.
