Colin Jones

Colin graduated from Wye College, University of London with an honours degree in Animal Science. He subsequently trained as a Chartered Accountant in the City and qualified in 1991.

Previously with BDO Stoy Hayward, Colin joined our London office in October 2002, and was made an associate partner in 2006. Colin works primarily on larger audit assignments. He has more than 10 years experience of managing audit assignments of varying sizes in a number of sectors, including large property investment groups, AIM and OFEX listed companies, and non-listed SME's.

Colin is a key member of the audit team dealing with over 300 parish councils in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire allocated to our London office by the Audit Commission as part of the audit regime for local councils, along with coordinating the development of processes for the UHY Hacker Young Group offices involved in this assignment.

Colin has worked on various due diligence investigations for acquisitions, MBO's and IPO's.

Colin is also an active member of the UHY Hacker Young Property Sector Group.

In the Autumn of 2005, Colin attended the annual UHY Forum for leading senior managers within the UHY International network.  Colin was awarded the UHY Forum Award by the business school professors leading the course.
