Dion Davies

Dion joined our Birmingham office in 1997 and qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2002. He is an associate partner, and a director of Public Sector Consultancy within the firm.

Dion has been involved in a wide variety of international assignments including establishing accounting systems in the USA as well as numerous projects within the UK, Europe and the Channel Islands.

He has extensive experience and specialises in the public sector, in particular the National Health Service (NHS). Previous assignments include designing, developing and piloting costing systems for NHS organisations, successfully identifying and obtaining EU Grants for NHS Primary Care Trusts and being involved with the benchmarking of health services within island communities for the islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and the Isle of Man. Dion frequently acts in line management capacity as an interim management accountant and deputy finance director.

More recently, Dion was appointed Chairman of the UHY International Secondments working group where, through collaboration with Partner firms, he is seeking to develop secondment opportunities throughout the group.

Dion lives in the outskirts of Birmingham and is an ardent fan of the Welsh international rugby team.
