Bryan Cooper

Bryan is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser at our Chester office. He originally joined what was then Haswell Brothers as a trainee in 1990, after a teaching career including a Maximum Security Unit, an Approved School and a school for children with learning and behavioural difficulties. He qualified as an accountant in 1992, as a CTA in 1994 and became PRP Manager at that time.

Bryan left in 1996 to take up a post as a lecturer in accountancy at a North Wales college. He rejoined UHY Hacker Young on a part time basis in September 2001, becoming full time Audit Manager in April 2002.

As well as his Audit responsibility he also has considerable input into all aspects of the practice, particularly Corporation Tax and VAT.
