UHY Hacker Young Sheffield merges with the Sheffield office of Haines Watts

UHY Hacker Young Sheffield, is delighted to announce that it has merged with the Sheffield office of fellow national accountancy firm Haines Watts.

As part of the move, the staff and partners Les Davies and Phil Eardley will join UHY Hacker Young Sheffield at their offices.

Andrew Hulse, partner, comments: “Our merger is great news for both sets of clients as they will have access to a range of experience worth more than the sum of their parts.”

“Because each office shares a focus on small and medium sized clients, especially owner managed businesses, the merger makes sense on both sides. We will now be able to offer our new and existing clients an even wider range of expertise and skills.”

“The merger gives us a great opportunity to continue our investment in our office and to grow our expertise in the academy schools and healthcare sectors. UHY Hacker Young has always been strong in these areas, but the addition of the Haines Watts team really takes that to the next level.”

“The new staff from Haines Watts will reinforce our long-standing expertise in the engineering and advanced manufacturing industries. Les and Phil are extremely talented and will provide even more experience in working for the vital industries that are central to Sheffield’s economy and identity.”

“The whole merger has been a very smooth process and the outlook for the future is bright. The partners at the two firms got to know each other very well in the last few months and it soon became apparent that the offices shared the same values and commitment to best practice.”

“By having such an easy transition, all our current and future clients will be able to quickly access an even greater range of experience and expertise.”
